In the eighteenth century, Russia was the largest country, which spread from Europe to the

Pacific  Ocean. Everywhere wonderful things were happening. Scientists, musicians, and writers

wanted to change Russia, but Russians did not want to change. Peter Alexeevich, Tsar of Russia, was

born in 1762, and he decided to change Russia. He safely traveled to Europe and brought back many

changes  to his country. He extremely changed Russia, and that’s why he is called Peter the Great.
